I built PhosphorLive because I needed something that didn't exist: a simple way to trigger video clips from a MIDI controller during live shows. Our drummer sends MIDI notes from his backing track, and PhosphorLive plays the matching visuals in sync — with effects, transitions, and zero fuss.

It grew from there. Now it has real-time GPU effects, procedural generators, choreography automation, and audio-reactive visuals. But at its core, it's still the same idea: press a note, see a visual.

What it does

MIDI & OSC triggers — map notes to video clips or generators. Velocity-sensitive, sub-100ms latency.
19 real-time effects — color shifts, glitch, RGB split, kaleidoscope, strobe, shockwave, and more. All GPU-accelerated via Metal shaders.
8 procedural generators — noise fields, plasma, spirals, digital rain — no video files needed. React to audio in real-time.
Choreography timeline — automate effects over time. Build complex sequences that play back in sync with your set.
A/B deck crossfade — seamless transitions with pre-loaded standby deck for instant response.
Camera overlay & particles — blend live camera input or GPU-rendered particles over your visuals.
